Dear Friends,

Here is what’s happening at the Hospitality House…

 

Friday, February 3rd:  1900 - till… :  Join us for Dinner and Bible study.  CH Dan Minjares will be continuing the study, “The Lazarus Life”.  We will be examining our own personal story of spiritual transformation.  The HHH van will depart post at 1830 and will return as needed.  If you need a ride, call the HHH at: (520) 378-2042 or Jose at (757) 620-4677.

 

Saturday, February 4th:  1000 – 1145: All men are invited to join Men of Chapel at Prosser Chapel Annex?  Men of The Chapel are going through the study; “Uprooting Anger”.  This study will run for approximately 10 weeks.  If you have any questions, please contact Trinity Caver at: trinjamesc@yahoo.com.

 

Sunday, February 5th:  1300 – 1630:  Join us for a “Baked Potato Bar” lunch with Rolls, Salad, Dessert, and an afternoon of relaxation.  The HHH will be providing the Baked Potato’s, so bring a topping ( i.e.: Sour Cream, Bacon Bits, Chopped Scallions, etc…), a side dish, salad or dessert that compliments the meal.  PLEASE call Whitney by Friday (Feb 3rd) to see what you can bring.

 

  •     At approximately 1530 - 1600 we will be driving to First Christian Church to join in their “Super Bowl Party”!  If you plan to attend, bring a “finger-food” to share.  Single Soldiers can bring chips, dip, soft drinks, etc…  The HHH van will leave post at 1230 to return to post by 1700.  Jose will be standing by post for those who will be returning to the Super Bowl Party.  Jose will get you back to post after the game!  Call the HHH at (520) 378-2042 about helping with lunch or Jose at (757) 620-4677 if you need a ride.

 

Worship opportunities on post are:

 

0900 - 1030:  Kino Chapel: Gospel Service.  A great place to hear God's Word and connect with a loving congregation.

 

0930 – 1030:  Prosser Chapel: Protestant Worship Service.  A great place to hear God’s Word exposited, worship, and connect.

 

1100 – 1200:  Main Post Chapel: Inter-Generational Protestant Worship Service.  An exploration of God’s Word as we learn the application of it in our lives…

 

Tuesday, February 7th:  0900-1130: Protestant Women of The Chapel (PWOC).  This session they are offering seven (7) Bible studies this Spring.  They will also have a new Homeschool room.  invite a friend, a neighbor, a woman you meet in the commissary line and bring them with you to PWOC.  Watchcare and Homeschool Room will open at 8:45am.  See attachment for Bible Studies offered this spring session.

 

Wednesday, February 8th:  1730 – 1930: Calling all kids! AWANA comes to Ft Huachuca Main Post Chapel!  The following is an excerpt from the Ft Huachuca AWANA Commander:  “We are excited to announce that the Fort Huachuca community will begin Awana club on 1 February.  The club will run on Wednesdays during the school year from 5:30 to 7:30.”  Also…if you don’t have children and would like to volunteer please send an email to: fhawana@hotmail.com. There are many opportunities for active duty soldiers to earn volunteer hours.  Listen to a child recite Bible verses or cheer a kid on during game time. AWANA needs your help and you will be blessed.  If you would like to come or wish to volunteer and need a ride, call us at (520) 378-2042

1830-2000 – Prosser Village Chapel.  Small Group Bible study at Prosser Chapel Annex.  All are welcome.  Bring your friends.  We are continuing our study of the book of Mark. Help us get the word out!

 

Friday, February 10th:  1800 - 2030:  Join us for Coffee House outreach to soldiers.  Join the Chaplains and mingle with soldiers for a fun filled night of food and socializing on post!  Coffee House will be held at Eifler Gym.  If you need directions, please call the HHH at (520) 378-2042 or Jose at (757) 620-4677.  By the way, this is also our 33rd wedding anniversary, so…we MAY not be at Coffee House…please forgive our absence…
